- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 bell pepper (red or green), diced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5–7 minutes.
Stir in diced onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened, approximately 3–5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors blend.
Reduce the heat to low and fold in shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and the mixture is creamy.
Butter and toast the burger buns on a hot skillet. Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each bun, then top with the other half. Serve hot!
