Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper (red or green), diced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Butter for toasting buns

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5–7 minutes.
  • Stir in diced onions and bell peppers. Cook until softened, approximately 3–5 minutes.
  • Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes to let the flavors blend.
  • Reduce the heat to low and fold in shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and the mixture is creamy.
  • Butter and toast the burger buns on a hot skillet. Spoon the cheesy chicken mixture onto the bottom half of each bun, then top with the other half. Serve hot!
